Brenda Britten, a founding partner of Care Advantage, LLC, and sole founder of Maverick Medical Services is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN), hails from Wisconsin but has called Brevard County home for the past two decades. Her academic journey includes earning both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida, with a specialized focus on geriatrics.

Beyond her foundational education, Brenda boasts a diverse professional background, spanning various medical domains such as oncology, orthopedics, internal medicine, pulmonary critical care, aesthetics, and the specialized realm of advanced wound care. Renowned for her holistic and empathetic approach to healthcare, she adeptly navigates the complexities of both acute and chronic disease processes with finesse and compassion.

Treating geriatric patients for 2 decades, it was clear that non-healing wounds not only is the second leading cause of death, but the most expensive to treat. This led me to research solutions and open a home based practice to try and make a difference.
